Associate Product Designer

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate Product Designer to join the Digital Markets Experience Design team. In this role, you will enhance user experiences across products, delivering value to both clients and the business. You will work closely with senior design leads to create user-centred solutions for complex challenges, collaborating with product and technology teams to shape impactful digital tools.

This position will focus on inclusivity, accessibility, and strategy, ensuring the next generation of digital tools are both effective and user-friendly. You will be part of a growing global organization and an active member of a thriving in-house design community.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging user-centred experiences for B2B applications used by institutional banking clients.

Help foster a high-performance design team by overseeing implementation standards across product suites and championing design best practices.

Work with an iterative design mindset, incorporating user feedback and insights to continuously improve experiences.

Participate in design strategy, product definition, and roadmap planning within multidisciplinary teams.

Collaborate and present work to stakeholders, product managers, and technology teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on requirements.

Qualifications

Experience with design tools such as Figma and the ability to design at various levels of fidelity.

Background in delivering design solutions in complex business domains, working effectively with product, development, and technology teams.

Strong understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies.

Ability to communicate design value and processes clearly.

A portfolio showcasing UX design work including wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
