Founding Product Designer

Chalk is hiring a Founding Product Designer to define how engineers, data scientists, and machine-learning practitioners interact with its high-performance ML data platform. Backed by a recent $50M Series A, the company focuses on eliminating complexity, latency, and scale barriers in machine-learning infrastructure while delivering elegant developer experiences.

As an early design hire, you will shape the product’s visual language, interaction patterns, and foundational design system while working directly with founders, engineers, and customers. The role involves owning end-to-end UI/UX, rapidly prototyping and shipping polished interfaces, gathering continuous user feedback, and balancing speed with product quality in a fast-moving environment without traditional product management structures.
