Deel — Staff Product Designer
Deel is hiring a Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of its global payroll and HR platform. Deel enables companies to hire, manage, and pay workers in more than 150 countries through a unified, AI-powered infrastructure covering HRIS, payroll, compliance, benefits, and performance.
In this senior design leadership role, you’ll lead end-to-end product design across multiple initiatives, ensuring experiences are cohesive, scalable, and aligned with both customer needs and business goals. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to design thoughtful, high-impact solutions while championing the Deel design system and driving rapid prototyping and experimentation in complex, ambiguous problem spaces.
You’ll also mentor product designers, strengthen design practice rituals, and help evolve team standards to improve efficiency and quality across the organisation. The role requires strong storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills to align cross-functional teams around a shared design vision, alongside the ability to balance user experience with strategic business outcomes.
This position suits an experienced product designer with 5–7+ years in fast-paced environments, including at least two years operating at Staff level or equivalent. Deep expertise across UX, UI, and visual design, data-informed decision-making, fintech or payroll domain knowledge, and experience embedded within development teams are highly valued.
