The Team

The UX Foundations team ensures Jobber’s product experience scales with clarity and quality. The Atlantis Design System is the core of this, providing components, tokens, and patterns that create consistency across platforms.

As a Design Systems Designer, you’ll help refine how these building blocks come together to shape seamless experiences. Your work will focus on mobile components, accessibility standards, governance, documentation, and collaboration with engineering.

The Role

This is a high-impact role shaping and scaling the Atlantis Design System, with emphasis on mobile experiences. You’ll work to enable product teams to deliver cohesive, world-class user experiences.

You’ll define and evolve component libraries, accessibility standards, design tokens, and documentation. Collaboration with designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners will be central to ensuring adoption and alignment. You’ll also coach designers, validate with users, and measure system impact.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the evolution of the Atlantis Design System, with emphasis on mobile libraries.
Partner with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation and adoption.
Define governance models, contribution processes, and best practices.
Work with teams to identify gaps and refine standards.
Advocate for accessibility, usability, and design excellence.
Validate improvements with internal and external users.
Measure success through adoption, efficiency gains, and quality improvements.

Requirements

Proven experience in product design with a focus on design systems.
Strong mobile UX design expertise with a portfolio of scalable patterns.
Track record of driving adoption and shaping standards.
Knowledge of interaction design, UI patterns, and front-end technologies.
Experience designing for responsive web, desktop, and tablet.
Technical understanding of HTML, CSS, and React.
Proficiency in Figma (libraries, tokens, auto-layout, prototyping).
Strong systems thinking and problem-solving abilities.
A portfolio demonstrating measurable design system impact.

Compensation

This role has a salary range of $106,600 to $144,200 CAD. Offers typically begin near the midpoint, with higher compensation reserved for demonstrated deep expertise. The package also includes equity, stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and extended health benefits with fully paid premiums.
