Design Systems Lead
Parloa
Parloa is looking for an experienced Design Systems Lead to define and scale how we design, build, and deliver consistent, high-quality experiences across all product and digital touchpoints. You’ll own the evolution of our design system, ensuring it’s robust, flexible, and scalable while reflecting Parloa’s brand identity—even in white-labeled partner environments.
This is a strategic and hands-on role at the intersection of design operations, platform thinking, and visual excellence. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and brand teams to set the standard for design at Parloa today and as we grow.
In This Role You Will
Lead the development and evolution of Parloa’s design system to support scalability, customization, and brand fidelity.
Define and maintain a component and token architecture ensuring consistency across devices, platforms, and markets.
Collaborate closely with engineering to deliver reusable interaction patterns with accessibility at the core.
Establish governance, documentation, and workflows to drive adoption and integrity of the system.
Own and optimize Figma operations, including libraries, tokens, and file structures, enabling clarity and efficiency.
Mentor designers to level up systems thinking and execution, embedding consistency into the design culture.
Work cross-functionally to integrate the design system into server-driven UI architectures and development pipelines.
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in product or visual design, with at least 3 years dedicated to design systems in a scaling tech environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing polished, systematized design at scale.
Deep expertise in Figma, including libraries, variables/tokens, and documentation.
Experience integrating design systems with front-end architectures like server-driven UI.
Proven ability to align brand expression with product scalability.
Strong mentorship skills and experience guiding teams in adopting and contributing to design systems.
Working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and awareness of localization requirements.
Experience supporting white-label products or platforms.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to align stakeholders and influence decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Fluency in English; German proficiency a plus.
