The Role

Filevine is hiring a Product Designer who blends strong UX thinking with technical awareness. You’ll partner closely with product owners and engineers to uncover insights, define problems, and shape intuitive solutions from early discovery to launch. You’ll craft polished user journeys, prototypes, and flows using Filevine’s design system, ensuring experiences scale beautifully across all screen sizes.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work hands-on across the entire product development process — brainstorming, research, prototyping, detailed UI, and feature launches. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering to identify viable MVP approaches while advocating for a high-quality user experience. You’ll create interactive prototypes and detailed specs, present your rationale to cross-functional stakeholders, and participate in critiques, reviews, and ideation sessions. You’ll contribute to and extend the shared design system and connect design decisions to broader product goals.

About You

You bring a passion for simplifying complex problems and turning them into clear, user-centered experiences. You have 3+ years of UX/UI product design experience, with exposure to shipping commercial products. You’ve spent at least two years working with and expanding design systems, and you’re fluent in Figma’s advanced features. You understand UX principles deeply, design confidently for all screen sizes, and have a well-crafted portfolio demonstrating strong visual execution. You’re comfortable conducting research, collaborating across design, product, engineering, and QA, and managing your own workflow with clarity and autonomy. Experience in AI-powered SaaS, legal tech, or startups is a bonus.

Compensation

Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $160,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. Filevine emphasizes pay equity and offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, parental leave, disability coverage, PTO, and strong leadership mentorship.
