
Interaction Design Researcher

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of interactive and digital play at LEGO. As an Interaction Design Researcher, you’ll use human insights, quantitative research, and data analysis to guide the development of new digital play experiences. You’ll support the full innovation journey—opportunity identification, concept development, iteration, and go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities
Drive the learning and experimentation agenda for a new physical/digital play proposition by working with design, UX, platform, and engineering teams.
Execute qualitative and quantitative research, including co-creation with children, surveys, and agile testing.
Ensure children are at the heart of strategy and design by embedding their needs, behaviours, and preferences into product and marketing decisions.
Synthesize diverse data sources—trends, customer insights, app and sales data—into clear, actionable insight narratives.
Communicate findings effectively to influence decision-making and strategy.
What You’ll Bring
Expertise in UX/UI design research, digital/interactive technology, or games.
Experience in product or service innovation and design thinking experimentation.
Strong ability to identify risky assumptions, run in-market tests, and apply metrics.
Curiosity about people, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently.
Confidence to challenge briefs, think critically, and lead discussions.
An interest in toys, games, and play experiences as well as digital gaming.
