Senior Product Designer
Jerry
Jerry.ai is building the first AI-powered assistant for car ownership, tackling everything from insurance and maintenance to financing and repairs. It’s a massive, underserved market worth over $2T, and Jerry has already reached 5 million customers and profitability while scaling toward a projected $10B valuation. The company has strong traction, backed by $240M and a product that’s already resonating with users — now they’re ready to take their design craft to the next level.
As a Senior Product Designer, you're stepping into a role that directly shapes how millions of drivers interact with Jerry’s platform. The problems are data-heavy, full of nuance, and deeply consequential for everyday car owners. Your work spans end-to-end ownership of design: mapping flows, building wireframes, refining high-fidelity visuals, and crafting prototypes that communicate clarity in spaces people normally find confusing — insurance, repairs, safety, and financial decisions. Design isn’t an accessory here; it is how Jerry makes car ownership feel effortless.
You’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other designers across mobile and web, simplifying complex workflows and translating insights into interfaces that genuinely help people make better decisions. Research, analytics, experimentation, and AI-enhanced personalisation all shape your design process. You’ll also help evolve Jerry’s design system and raise the quality bar across surfaces, ensuring consistency and polish at scale.
This is a role for someone with at least five years of experience designing consumer-facing products. You need a portfolio that demonstrates strong UX thinking, clean interface design, and the ability to simplify complexity. You’ll thrive if you enjoy collaborating tightly with cross-functional teams, moving quickly through exploration and iteration, and bringing structure to ambiguous, data-dense problem spaces. Proficiency in Figma and rapid prototyping is essential, and experience in mobility, fintech, insurance, or marketplaces is a strong advantage.
Jerry’s design culture is hands-on and high-craft. You’ll collaborate with leaders like Kruise Sapstein, Head of Design, and CEO Art Agrawal, who is deeply involved in product direction. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, parental leave, 401(k) matching, wellness support, and equity opportunities. The company prides itself on building an inclusive, supportive environment and provides accommodations for candidates who need them throughout the hiring process.
