Product Designer

Kernel is hiring its first Product Designer to take full ownership of the core product experience. This is a foundational role with end-to-end responsibility, shaping how RevOps teams interact with powerful AI-driven data inside their CRMs.

Kernel builds an AI-native alternative to traditional company data providers, powering RevOps teams at companies like Navan, Gong, and AlphaSense. The platform operates at serious scale, processing billions of tokens and millions of agents daily, all built on a deliberately simple architecture designed for speed and reliability.

As Product Designer, your mission is to simplify complexity. You’ll design clearer workflows, stronger mental models, and more confident user experiences across the core product. You’ll lead discovery through direct user research, prototype quickly using tools like Figma or Figma Make, and work in tight loops with engineers and product to ship high-quality work fast.

This role is not about hierarchy or long design cycles. It’s for someone who enjoys ambiguity, moves quickly, communicates clearly, and can turn insight into shipped product without ceremony. You’ll also help establish early design foundations — principles, patterns, and lightweight systems — without slowing a small, fast-moving team.
