The Role
We’re hiring a Lead Product Designer to join our Growth squad, focusing on acquisition, activation, and monetisation. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll balance visionary design with rigorous execution. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to create experiences that make Paired indispensable for couples while driving measurable business impact.
What You’ll Do
Translate business goals into user-centred, emotionally resonant design solutions.
Own end-to-end design across mobile and web, from discovery to polished execution.
Drive both new 0–1 initiatives and the evolution of proven flows such as onboarding, free trials, and paywalls.
Design emotionally engaging experiences that elevate how couples perceive Paired’s value.
Prototype at high fidelity to enable fast, informed testing.
Lead by example, providing critique, mentoring peers, and setting high craft standards.
Champion the design system at scale, leveraging Figma’s advanced features (variables, tokens, automation).
Use a mix of qualitative insights, quantitative data, and product intuition to inform design decisions.
Collaborate across teams to align design thinking and raise the bar across the product.
Requirements
Extensive product design experience with a proven record of leading impactful projects.
Expertise in consumer-facing mobile and web products, ideally subscription-based.
Strong portfolio with at least two in-depth case studies showing design process and measurable results.
Hands-on experience in interaction design, micro-interactions, and motion design.
Advanced Figma and prototyping skills.
Deep knowledge of UX/UI best practices, accessibility (A11Y), and responsive design.
Proven use of research and data to shape decisions.
Skilled communicator, able to align teams through clear and compelling design narratives.
Must be based in the UK, DE, ES, IE, DK, or NL, with legal right to work.

£90K–£95K / €85K–€105K annual salary (based on experience and location).
