Mid-Level Designer

Gensler

As a Designer at Gensler, you’ll blend creativity with technical skill to shape functional, beautiful, and human-centered spaces. You’re passionate about your craft, eager to collaborate, and ready to bring bold ideas to the table. With your design eye and problem-solving mindset, you’ll help transform workplaces into inspiring environments that elevate how people work and connect.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work as part of a collaborative design team on projects ranging from workplace interiors to large-scale environments. You’ll be involved in every stage of the process — from programming and concept development to design documentation and client presentations.

Your day-to-day will include developing space plans, mood boards, and material palettes, selecting FF&E, finishes, and lighting, and producing Revit-based drawings and specifications. You’ll liaise with consultants, product reps, and furniture dealers, helping bring every design detail to life.

You’ll also participate in design reviews and client meetings, contributing ideas and feedback that push each project’s creative direction forward.

What You’ll Bring

You have a degree in Interior Design or a related field and 3–5 years of professional design experience post-graduation. You’re fluent in Revit, SketchUp, and Enscape, and comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite for presentations. Your portfolio shows a mix of conceptual thinking and refined execution, with projects that balance beauty, function, and innovation.

You’re a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced studio. You understand materials, detailing, and construction — and you care deeply about designing spaces that make a difference.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field

  • 3–5 years of post-graduate design experience

  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual and technical design work
