Product Designer

Papernest

Papernest is celebrating ten years of simplifying everyday life through a platform that helps people manage, subscribe to, and switch essential services in just a few clicks. With more than 1.5 million customers across France, Spain, and Italy—and a team of over 900 people—they’re scaling fast and continuing to expand into new verticals. This role sits in Barcelona within a multilingual, international environment where collaboration and impact are central to the culture.

As a Product Designer, you’ll work closely with product managers and developers to shape user experiences across multiple products. You’ll contribute across discovery and delivery: co-creating user flows, participating in workshops, preparing and running research, designing and animating prototypes, and evaluating the existing product to push continuous improvement. You’ll also support user testing from planning to synthesis, iterating your designs based on findings, and helping maintain and evolve the UI kit.

You should bring two to three years of experience in UX or product design, along with a portfolio that demonstrates your approach. Familiarity with UX methodologies, user interviews, testing, and audits is essential. You’ll need to be comfortable managing several products at once, collaborating within cross-functional teams, and working confidently in Figma with components, variants, auto-layout, and design systems. Prior experience in B2C digital products is required.

The VIE contract includes strong international benefits: the official Business France monthly allowance, extensive local partnerships for restaurants, fitness, and leisure, full medical coverage through April, and 100 percent reimbursement of relocation travel and luggage costs to Barcelona. You’ll also have two remote days per week and structured support to develop your skills and professional path throughout the programme.

The hiring process includes an initial call with Eva, a portfolio review with Margaux, a use-case interview with Margaux and Valentin, and a final conversation with Stéphanie, Head of Product B2C. Papernest encourages applications from candidates of all backgrounds and places particular emphasis on parity, inclusion, and diverse experience.
