Product Designer (AI-first)
PlayPlay
PlayPlay is building the next generation of AI-first video creation products, designed to help teams produce impactful video content without technical barriers. As a Product Designer, you’ll shape the experience of one of PlayPlay’s strategic AI-driven products, working closely with the Founder/CEO and CPTO to bring generative AI into everyday workflows.
You’ll join a centralized Design team and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Frontend and Backend Engineers. Your role spans the full product lifecycle, from deeply understanding user needs and workflows through continuous research, to designing and shipping polished, end-to-end experiences that drive real business impact.
This role places a strong emphasis on systems thinking and high-quality UX foundations. You’ll design user flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, and pixel-perfect UI, while leveraging and evolving the PlayPlay Design System to keep products cohesive and scalable. You’ll also help shape roadmaps, manage trade-offs, and ensure design quality remains high as the product evolves.
Designing with and around AI is central to the role. You’ll explore how generative AI models can be transformed into intuitive, trustworthy user experiences, considering uncertainty, explainability, feedback loops, and guardrails. You’ll also use AI tools to accelerate your own design workflow and improve speed without compromising quality.
PlayPlay is looking for someone with at least four years of experience in product-led environments and a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, from problem framing and research through to shipped UX/UI and measurable outcomes. Fluency in both French and English is required, along with strong communication skills and comfort presenting design decisions and trade-offs.
The team values resilience, autonomy, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving, ambitious environment. Experience with generative AI products, accessibility standards, cognitive models, or modern discovery practices is a plus, but curiosity and a willingness to learn are just as important.
PlayPlay offers an inclusive, supportive culture built around creativity, ambition, and shared ownership. The company is committed to diversity and inclusion and strives to create an environment where every voice is heard and every idea can shape how the product and team evolve.
