Masabi

Masabi is leading the fare payment revolution, powering millions of journeys every day across the world. Our Justride platform enables seamless ticketing experiences — from mobile apps and ticket machines to contactless bank card payments.

We’re trusted in over 250 locations globally, including major cities and partnerships with mobility leaders like Uber, Moovit, and Transit.

Joining Masabi means more than just designing — it’s about making public transport fair, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone. You’ll work in a diverse, supportive environment where innovation and impact go hand in hand.

About the Role

As a Product Designer at Masabi, you’ll design thoughtful, inclusive, and user-centred experiences that make travelling by public transport simpler for millions of riders worldwide.

You’ll be involved from discovery through delivery, creating everything from initial concepts to polished, production-ready interfaces. Along the way, you’ll help define the visual language of the Justride platform and contribute to the evolution of our Design System and design culture.

This role is remote or hybrid within the UK, with flexibility to work in a way that fits your life.

What You’ll Do

  • Design accessible, intuitive interfaces across Masabi’s Justride platform.

  • Lead the full UX process — from research and ideation to testing and delivery.

  • Conduct usability testing and user research to validate design decisions.

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.

  • Maintain and evolve Masabi’s Design System, brand assets, and UI style guides.

  • Share insights, champion accessibility, and contribute to a strong, collaborative design culture.

About You
You’re a designer who blends creativity with clarity — someone who designs with empathy, communicates with confidence, and thrives in collaboration.

You’ll bring:

  • A portfolio showcasing strong UX and UI design in shipped digital products.

  • Proficiency in tools like Figma and Miro, plus openness to new tools and workflows.

  • Experience running workshops, synthesizing insights, and making evidence-based design decisions.

  • Deep understanding of accessible design principles and current UI trends.

  • A proactive, curious mindset and passion for continuous improvement.

  • Strong communication skills and empathy when presenting ideas or feedback.

Why Join Masabi?

  • Purpose-driven: Your work improves public transport accessibility worldwide.

  • Growth-focused: We’ll support your professional journey — wherever it leads.

  • People-first: We foster learning, trust, and collaboration — not blame.

  • Inclusive culture: We welcome diverse voices and encourage authenticity.

At Masabi, whoever you are — just be yourself.
We’re building a world where public transport is simple, fair, and accessible for all.

If that mission resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.
