About the Role

As a Product Designer on our International Team, you’ll shape the experience of millions of users across Canada and other global markets. You'll focus on making our product feel truly local — from onboarding to payments, marketing campaigns to regulatory experiences.

You’ll work closely with engineering, research, and product to build intuitive, compliant, and locally-relevant designs.

What You’ll Be Working On

Product Improvements
You’ll identify UX issues and opportunities across our international products.

Localization
You’ll evaluate translations and cultural context to ensure everything feels native to the region.

Onboarding
You’ll create tailored onboarding flows that meet local compliance requirements without compromising on usability.

Payments
You’ll work with payments teams to integrate preferred local payment methods.

Marketing
You’ll contribute to referral programs, user incentives, and CRM campaigns — collaborating with illustrators and marketers to bring campaigns to life.

Market Research
You’ll assist in user research, competitor audits, and testing sessions to identify insights and opportunities.

Regulatory Design
You’ll craft experiences that meet changing legal requirements, delivering compliant yet delightful flows under tight timelines.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of product design experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Experience designing for web and mobile (consumer-facing)

• Strong UX thinking, visual design, and communication skills

• Comfort collaborating closely with engineering and research

• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools

• Low-ego, open to feedback, and highly collaborative

• Personal experience using Coinbase

A Note on Work Style

Coinbase is not a remote-only company. You’ll work remotely most of the time, but in-person participation is expected at team offsites throughout the year.
