Product Designer

DoorDash

SevenRooms, recently acquired by DoorDash, is a hospitality technology platform built to power restaurant operations, marketing, and guest experiences. The product helps hospitality operators drive revenue, deepen customer relationships, and deliver personalized, memorable experiences through powerful data and automation.

As part of DoorDash’s In-Store Technology organization, you’ll join a team dedicated to helping restaurants craft magical, seamless guest experiences — from reservation to table.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer to shape cohesive, user-friendly experiences across our suite of software solutions for hospitality operators. You’ll be responsible for designing the end-to-end experience that diners and venues use to connect, book, and engage through SevenRooms’ in-store products.

This role blends creativity, systems thinking, and empathy for both restaurant operators and their guests. You’ll work collaboratively across product, research, and engineering teams while owning key design decisions that directly impact how restaurants deliver exceptional service.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead end-to-end product design, from research and conceptualization through high-fidelity design and delivery. You’ll translate user needs into intuitive, scalable experiences that feel magical to use.

You’ll design and maintain reusable UI patterns for consumer-facing products, conduct usability testing to refine designs, and collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to align on outcomes. Your work will help define how guests discover, reserve, and experience hospitality through DoorDash’s growing in-store ecosystem.

Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll design with purpose — shaping tools that connect people through hospitality. You’ll work in a highly collaborative, creative environment, with autonomy to experiment, iterate, and influence product direction. You’ll contribute to products used by thousands of venues and millions of diners globally, helping DoorDash expand from food delivery to the full restaurant experience.

You’ll Succeed If You Have

You have 3+ years of product design experience at a B2B or B2B2C SaaS company, designing consumer-facing features from discovery to launch. You have a strong grasp of visual design, layout, hierarchy, and interaction design, and can translate complex requirements into elegant, functional solutions.

You’re comfortable conducting user research and usability testing, collaborating across teams, and communicating design rationale clearly. A working understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals helps you partner effectively with engineers.

You’re endlessly curious — always seeking better ways to simplify, delight, and improve the user experience.

Compensation

Base Salary: $124,400 – $183,000 USD (depending on experience and location)
Includes opportunities for equity grants and performance-based bonuses.
