Product Designer

Fortune

As a Product Designer at Fortune Media, you will work closely with product, technology, and editorial teams to design user-centered interfaces that enhance how audiences interact with content. You will contribute to both the visual design and overall user experience, creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible designs that reflect the brand.

Key Responsibilities

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to design user-centered experiences from concept to launch. You will own end-to-end design work across desktop and mobile web interfaces, creating user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. You will use insights from user research and data to inform and iterate on designs, while also helping shape Fortune’s design system to ensure consistency and efficiency. You will advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints, and you will participate in design critiques to contribute to a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 3–6 years of experience as a product designer, ideally in media, entertainment, or high-volume B2C environments. A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work is essential. Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Principle is required, along with a solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design. Experience with user research and usability testing is preferred, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members are key.

Compensation

The total compensation range for this role is $140,000 – $165,000, inclusive of a discretionary annual bonus.
