Backed by Voodoo, our team is fully focused on scaling BeReal into an iconic social network used by hundreds of millions.

The Role

BeReal’s product team is a small group of high-performers reporting directly to the CEO. We operate at the intersection of data science, engineering, design, and operations. Each member of the team is highly autonomous, skilled across multiple areas, and expected to identify opportunities, design high-impact solutions, drive implementation, and assess results.

You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research into user behaviour and needs, identifying key problems and opportunities. You will propose pragmatic solutions, estimate business impact, and contribute to prioritising initiatives. From wireframing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, you will create features that solve problems in simple and elegant ways while paying attention to every detail.

You will identify key metrics that your solutions should improve and take ownership of achieving success. You will work closely with the technical team to implement, test, and iterate. You will also contribute to building and improving our design system.

Profile

You are passionate about scaling social consumer apps and are plugged into the drives and desires of Gen Z. You are obsessed with understanding user needs in detail.

You are highly driven, autonomous, and results-oriented. You can hack together quick prototypes while also implementing scalable design systems. You love creating delightful features but are equally pragmatic about ensuring substantial business impact.

You understand the technical implications of your design decisions and are fluent in English.
