Product Designer
Glean
Founded in 2019, Glean is an AI-powered knowledge management platform built to help organizations find, organize, and share information seamlessly. By integrating with tools like Google Drive, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, Glean ensures teams can instantly access the right knowledge when they need it—boosting productivity, collaboration, and clarity.
Led by Founder & CEO Arvind Jain, Glean was created to solve a modern workplace problem: fragmented information scattered across endless SaaS tools. Today, Glean has evolved into the leading Work AI platform, combining enterprise-grade search, an AI assistant, and intelligent automation to redefine how companies access and use their collective knowledge.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Designer to help shape the future of work. You’ll join a collaborative and deeply experienced design team, working closely with PMs, engineers, and other cross-functional partners to create thoughtful, intuitive products used daily by teams around the world.
This is an opportunity to design at the intersection of AI, productivity, and knowledge sharing—crafting tools that redefine how modern teams work and think.
What You’ll Do
You’ll own the entire design lifecycle for major product features, from concept to implementation. You’ll combine research, experimentation, and craft to deliver user experiences that solve real problems for knowledge workers and bring Glean’s vision to life.
Lead end-to-end design of major features — from research and ideation to high-fidelity design and implementation.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define goals, requirements, and success metrics.
Conduct or partner on user research, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable design decisions.
Rapidly prototype and test design concepts to validate ideas and refine experiences.
Create detailed flows, interactions, and UI components, ensuring high quality and consistency across touchpoints.
Contribute to Glean’s design system and component library, maintaining scalability and cohesion.
Share work regularly across teams and help refine design processes.
About You
You’re a generalist designer who’s just as comfortable sketching product ideas as you are polishing high-fidelity interfaces. You thrive in fast-moving environments, think deeply about user behavior, and love building products that make complex systems simple.
You bring:
5+ years of product design experience in software companies that have shipped to real users.
Experience designing for B2B SaaS products, ideally in productivity, collaboration, or AI-driven spaces.
Strong command of Figma (and related design tools) for creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
The ability to understand technical concepts (bonus if you’re familiar with APIs, databases, or LLMs).
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to explain design decisions clearly.
Comfort with ambiguity—you can self-prioritize, make trade-offs, and push ideas forward independently.
A growth mindset and collaborative approach—you seek feedback, iterate quickly, and continuously raise the bar for craft and impact.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation will be based on location, experience, and skill level. Packages may include equity, variable pay, and comprehensive benefits.
Why Join Glean
At Glean, you’ll design for scale and purpose—building products that fundamentally transform how teams access and use knowledge. You’ll join a team that values creativity, speed, and craftsmanship, and you’ll have the chance to shape the visual and experiential DNA of a fast-growing AI platform used by leading organizations worldwide.
Diversity & Inclusion
Glean is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse, inclusive workplace. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, family status, age, disability, or race.
Join us and help design the next generation of intelligent work experiences—where AI, collaboration, and human creativity come together.
