Staff Product Designer

The Opportunity

Grammarly is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join its growing Agents function. In this role, you will design next-generation AI-powered Agent experiences that help millions of people communicate more clearly and effectively. You will collaborate with global teams, refine user interactions, and shape the long-term design vision for Grammarly’s Agents roadmap.

Responsibilities

You will design Agent experiences from ideation to launch, crafting intuitive and impactful user journeys. You will work closely with engineering teams in Europe and designers in the US to ensure cohesive product performance. You will influence product direction by prototyping ideas, sharing insights, and contributing to strategy. You will mentor junior designers, provide thoughtful critique, and drive high standards for design craft and usability. You will also partner with leadership to rapidly test, iterate, and refine ideas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should have extensive experience designing complex, scalable desktop products, ideally productivity tools. You should demonstrate genuine interest in AI technology and its applications, and bring a strong, user-centred portfolio that showcases real-world solutions.

Experience working with data-driven decision-making and metrics is essential. You should be comfortable operating independently, managing multiple projects, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. A passion for language, writing, and communication is highly valued.

Experience mentoring designers, familiarity with building design teams, or having shaped design processes is a plus.
