Product Designer
House Rx
House Rx is transforming specialty pharmacy by making medications for chronic illnesses like cancer and autoimmune disorders more accessible and affordable. The company empowers clinics with technology and pharmacist-led support, enabling them to dispense specialty medications directly to patients through medically integrated dispensing.
About the Role
As a Product Designer at House Rx, you’ll join a small, cross-functional team shaping the future of healthcare technology. This isn’t just about screens — you’ll think in systems, flows, and outcomes, helping design tools that empower pharmacists, care coordinators, and clinics to deliver better care.
You’ll join early in our design journey, contributing to both the product direction and design culture. This is an opportunity to design with purpose, collaborate deeply, and build healthcare technology that truly matters.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work across the full design process — from discovery and research to prototyping and delivery. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operations to design end-to-end workflows for pharmacists and care teams. You’ll validate your designs with real users, balancing usability, scalability, and clarity.
Responsibilities include:
Designing workflows that streamline pharmacy and care coordination operations.
Taking projects from early sketches to polished UI and detailed specs.
Partnering closely with PMs, engineers, and operations to align design with product goals.
Conducting user validation with pharmacists and care coordinators.
Contributing to and refining our design systems.
Helping shape a thoughtful, feedback-driven design culture.
Bringing clarity and simplicity to complex workflows and systems.
About You
You’re curious, collaborative, and care deeply about the details — but you also think in outcomes. You thrive in ambiguity, communicate clearly, and enjoy building in fast-moving environments.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in product design (startup experience preferred).
Strong portfolio showcasing shipped products and clear problem-solving.
Fluent in Figma, including auto layout, components, and prototyping.
Strong visual design craft and understanding of UI patterns.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach — you think MVP, not perfection.
Comfortable working asynchronously and providing video walkthroughs.
Bonus Points:
Experience with complex systems in healthcare, pharmacy, or operations.
Experience building or maintaining scalable design systems.
Familiarity with async validation and user testing.
Interest in AI-native design tools (e.g., v0, Cursor).

At House Rx, you’ll work alongside entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and engineers who are passionate about improving patient care. We’re building an environment that values transparency, learning, and collaboration — where new ideas are always welcome.

Generous parental leave.
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
Equity ownership.
Our Team
The Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) team is small but mighty — with engineers, PMs, and designers working together across the U.S. to build meaningful healthcare products. We ship daily, value thoughtfulness and craft, and take pride in the real-world impact of our work.
We’re a remote-first company with bi-annual retreats to connect, plan, and celebrate progress. The team embraces flexibility, async collaboration, and a culture that balances technical excellence with human care.
If you want to design systems that improve lives and make healthcare more human, we’d love to hear from you.
