About the team

The Advanced Trading Design Team at Coinbase is responsible for crafting powerful, intuitive tools for advanced and professional traders. We merge financial expertise with world-class design to create seamless, high-performance trading experiences for users worldwide.

This role will focus on building out our core advanced experience, collaborating with product, research, marketing, and engineering to design high-quality interfaces that empower global traders.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work within a small, agile team to continuously refine and elevate user experiences. From ideation to testing and launch, you’ll take full ownership of features—designing simple, intuitive interfaces across web and mobile. You’ll participate in design reviews, seek and apply feedback, and help define the product roadmap. Daily collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Research will be central to your role.

Key responsibilities:

Design end-to-end user experiences for advanced trading platforms.

Take features from concept to prototype to production.

Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product managers on design execution.

Participate in feedback and critique sessions, iterating on insights.

Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions.

What we look for in you

You have 3+ years of professional Product Design experience and a strong foundation in consumer-facing web and mobile design. You’re fluent in Figma and prototyping tools, comfortable collaborating across teams, and confident presenting your work clearly.

You excel in UX thinking, visual design, and communication, and you bring a low-ego, open-minded approach to problem-solving.

Preferred experience

Interest in crypto or financial products.

Familiarity with Coinbase products.

Experience interacting with Ethereum, ENS, or onchain applications.

Compensation

The target annual salary for this position ranges from $144,500–$170,000 USD, depending on work location.
Full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
