
Product Designer II

Lightspeed is seeking a Product Designer II to join its Consumer Engagement squad within the Hospitality design team. You’ll help define and shape product experiences that transform complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces, focusing on loyalty and gift card programs for hospitality merchants. The role involves leading full design cycles, contributing to design reviews and working sessions, and translating requirements into clear, usable product features. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to create delightful experiences and contribute to the long-term product vision. AI and emerging tech integration, systems thinking, and user-centric design are key aspects of the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and lead full design cycles for features or product areas.
Participate in design reviews and working sessions.
Translate requirements and ideas into usable product features.
Embed systems thinking; design holistic flows and interfaces.
Use research and data to inform design decisions.
Drive collaboration with cross-functional partners.
What You Need to Bring
4+ years of in-house product, UX/UI design experience.
Foundational design education or equivalent experience.
Strong visual design and communication skills.
Experience spanning mobile and desktop design.
Familiarity with design systems and tools like Figma, JIRA.
English fluency; German a plus.
