About the Role
As a Product Designer II on the Social Experiences team, you’ll be central to Pinterest’s growth strategy. You’ll focus on building the best social experiences that help users connect in meaningful ways. This includes improving sharing flows, designing new ways to share content, and investing in collaboration tools that drive retention.
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with product and engineering to deliver on the Social Experiences roadmap.
Work in a fast-paced, data-driven, and experimental environment.
Manage and synthesise feedback from stakeholders across Growth, Core, and leadership.
Maintain a high level of design execution and inspire others on the team.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
Experience working on complex, metrics-inspired projects.
A proven track record of building and iterating digital products with product and engineering teams.
Strong visual design skills with expertise in layout, typography, and colour.
Excellent UX and product thinking with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to clearly explain design decisions.
A collaborative mindset and ability to bring cross-functional partners on the journey.
Experience balancing speed and quality, with contributions across both optimisation and 0–1 product development.
A strong portfolio demonstrating design craft, experimentation, and systems thinking.
Experience with social features and growth-focused design is a plus.
Work Model
This role follows Pinterest’s PinFlex model. While primarily remote, you’ll be expected to attend in-office collaboration 1–2 times per quarter.
Salary Range (US-based applicants)
$107,100 – $220,500 USD annually
Final salary depends on location, experience, and skills. The role is also eligible for equity.
