Product Designer II

Uber

Uber is looking for a Product Designer to join the Platform Experiences team, focused on designing enterprise-grade web applications that power Uber’s global operations. This team builds the foundational platforms that enable employees, partners, and internal teams to operate efficiently, reduce errors, and make data-driven decisions at scale.

As a designer on this team, you’ll tackle complex design challenges and develop high-impact solutions for Uber’s business platforms. Your work will shape the experience of internal users managing core business functions, including marketplace configuration, metric handling, and data visualization.

This role requires systems thinking and strong execution skills to design intuitive, efficient, and scalable enterprise business tools. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, researchers, and other designers to define problems, craft solutions, and raise the quality of business platforms across Uber.

You will own design problems end to end, from discovery and concept development through execution and iteration. You’ll design scalable solutions for complex workflows, balance power-user efficiency with usability, and produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you’ll improve usability, ship high-impact features, and evolve Uber’s enterprise design patterns.

Candidates should bring at least three years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating strong UX/UI design for complex applications. You should have experience simplifying workflows into intuitive experiences, working across enterprise web apps, and proficiency with Figma and prototyping.

Preferred experience includes designing data-heavy or workflow-driven applications, strong systems thinking, and familiarity with SaaS, B2B, or internal tooling. The ability to drive alignment, facilitate discussions, and make trade-off decisions is also valued.

Uber’s mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Offices remain central to collaboration, and employees are expected to spend at least half of their time in office unless approved for remote. Accommodations may be available based on religious or medical conditions.
