The Role

As a Product Designer at Meta, you will play a central role in shaping the future of Meta’s products and platforms. You’ll work across every stage of product development, from early ideation and strategy to design execution and launch. You’ll transform complex ideas into valuable, intuitive, and visually refined user experiences, ensuring a high standard of craft and impact for billions of global users.

This role involves both product strategy and execution, with opportunities to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence the long-term vision of Meta’s design practice.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver large or ambiguous design projects.
Translate broad, conceptual ideas into useful and valuable products for 2 billion+ users.
Design user flows and interfaces that simplify complex actions into intuitive experiences.
Develop new product layouts and evolve Meta’s visual systems.
Contribute to strategic decisions about the direction of Meta’s products.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists.
Provide feedback to peers and mentor other designers to raise the quality bar.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field.
6+ years of experience designing complex software products end-to-end, with expertise in UX, interaction, and visual design.
Experience conducting complex research studies and applying design-led innovation to drive business growth.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end development efforts, influence cross-functional teams, and develop design roadmaps.
Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience showcasing end-to-end design processes across multiple projects, including iterations and high-fidelity prototypes.
Experience connecting design work with related initiatives across a company and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated leadership in non-product areas that strengthen teams and improve workplace culture.

Compensation

$165,000 – $231,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation varies based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
