Novel is a no-code NFT commerce platform, backed by leading angels and investors across e-commerce and web3. Its first product is a Shopify plug-in that lets brands and creators create and sell NFTs directly within their stores.
The mission is to accelerate mainstream NFT adoption by removing technical barriers for both creators and consumers. With the NFT market valued at over $31bn, Novel aims to make buying and selling NFTs seamless and accessible.
As one of the earliest hires, you’ll help shape the product, design systems, and workflows at a fast-moving startup in a rapidly evolving market.
What You’ll Do
Own and drive the visual and technical direction of Novel’s design systems.
Collaborate closely with the founders, product, and engineering on product strategy, design, and delivery.
Synthesize user feedback into actionable, delightful designs.
What You’ll Bring
Strong skills across UI/UX, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, typography, layout, and hierarchy.
Experience working with Figma, CSS, and Typescript.
A resourceful, scrappy self-starter mentality, with a willingness to help build processes and tools as needed.

An interest in web3.
