Product Designer (Mid-Level)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Product Designer to join our Design team. You will shape the future of how crypto news and information are consumed by designing across web and mobile product experiences on theblock.co.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, editorial, and business stakeholders to ideate, design, and ship impactful features that elevate both the brand and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design intuitive, elegant interfaces for web and mobile.
Lead design reviews and translate user problems into design solutions.
Own the end-to-end design process from research to final QA.
Maintain and evolve our Figma-based design system.
Conduct user research and testing to validate and refine concepts.
Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality implementation.
Balance business goals with user needs to deliver user-first solutions.

What You’ll Bring

2+ years of professional experience with a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
Experience maintaining and working with Figma design systems.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Bonus Skills

Experience working on media or content-rich platforms.
Experience in crypto-focused content or industry.
Front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) to support collaboration with engineers.

What Success Looks Like

After 3–6 months, you will be fully integrated into The Block’s design workflow, have shipped features that drive engagement, retention, and revenue, and owned at least one major feature from concept to production.
