About the Role
As Timely’s first Product Designer, you’ll define the company’s design standards, processes, and culture from the ground up. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and leadership to shape intuitive, scalable user experiences that simplify complex educational workflows. This role blends strategic design thinking with hands-on execution—ideal for someone who enjoys crafting structure in an early-stage environment.
Responsibilities
Design intuitive user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns for complex school scheduling workflows.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
Establish and maintain a scalable design system with reusable components.
Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and research to validate designs.
Partner closely with engineering and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and impact.
Prototype and test rapidly, balancing speed with craft.
Bring forward design insights, best practices, and emerging trends to drive innovation.
You’ll Succeed If You Have:
5–7 years of Product/UX Design experience in B2B SaaS or similar environments.
Advanced Figma skills and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
Proven success creating and scaling design systems.
Strong understanding of user research and front-end development principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
(Nice to have) Early-stage startup or EdTech experience.
