Senior Product Designer

Sage is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help lead the design evolution of its Care app in New York. Sage builds modern software and wearable experiences that support older adults in safely ageing in place, combining thoughtful technology with deeply user-centred design.

In this hands-on, high-impact individual contributor role, you’ll drive end-to-end design from discovery and research through to high-fidelity execution and development-ready prototypes. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Implementation partners to shape product direction and deliver meaningful experiences for seniors and caregivers.

Your work will include conducting qualitative and quantitative research, synthesising insights into actionable design decisions, and creating wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes that balance usability, accessibility, and emotional resonance. You’ll champion inclusive design tailored to the needs of older adults, contribute to the evolution of the design system, and clearly communicate rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role suits an experienced designer with 5+ years of product design experience, strong craft and interaction design skills, and confidence influencing strategy within a fast-moving startup environment. Passion for designing healthcare or mission-driven products is highly valued, along with comfort navigating ambiguity and collaborating across disciplines.
