About the Role

The eBay Live Seller Pillar team is reimagining the live commerce experience for sellers — from onboarding and streaming to inventory and post-sale management. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in crafting engaging, user-friendly experiences for eBay Live sellers.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content designers to deliver innovative solutions that make selling live more intuitive, rewarding, and scalable. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where creativity meets commerce at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling.

What You’ll Do

  • Design for impact: Create intuitive, engaging experiences for eBay Live sellers, focusing on onboarding, event setup, live streaming, and post-transaction workflows.

  • Prototype and iterate: Use Figma and other advanced prototyping tools to design, test, and refine interactive flows and high-fidelity interfaces.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with engineering, product, research, and content teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences that meet user and business goals.

  • Integrate user insights: Participate in workshops, field research, and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve outcomes.

  • Tell the story: Present your work and design rationale with clarity, using storytelling to align stakeholders and bring your ideas to life.

  • Stay organized: Maintain well-documented design files and handoffs to ensure smooth collaboration within and across teams.

  • Be inspired: Keep up with evolving trends in live commerce, streaming, and interactive media, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the table.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of professional product design experience, ideally within eCommerce, marketplaces, or live commerce environments.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-impact design work.

  • Proven ability to communicate design thinking, rationale, and user journeys clearly to cross-functional audiences.

  • Experience collaborating with research and content teams, integrating narrative and insight into design solutions.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, testing, and iteration in complex product environments.

  • Team-first mindset — open to feedback, curious, and driven by continuous learning.

  • Bonus: Familiarity with video-first platforms, streaming ecosystems, or game design principles.

Why Join eBay

  • Work at the forefront of live commerce innovation, helping shape the future of digital selling experiences.

  • Collaborate with a world-class, multidisciplinary team of creators and technologists.

  • Enjoy a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
