Senior Product Designer
FREENOW
FREENOW is on a mission to make urban mobility smarter and more sustainable. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be joining a diverse, highly motivated, and collaborative team, working to create tools that help taxi dispatchers scale operations and make the most of FREENOW’s digital capabilities.
You’ll play a key role in shaping new and existing supply-focused products, such as the Taxi Driver app and back-office tools. This is a strategic initiative with high impact, and you’ll work closely with product designers, researchers, writers, and engineers to solve user problems and deliver a seamless experience.
What you’ll do
You’ll lead end-to-end design processes — from discovery and ideation to crafting user journeys and building production-ready assets. You’ll represent UX within cross-functional teams, collaborate with product and data teams, and bring a user-centred mindset to product decisions.
You’ll be experimenting, validating hypotheses, and refining designs through prototyping and testing. Your work will include helping define design direction, improving interfaces, and contributing to a scalable, inclusive design system. You’ll also mentor others and help nurture a strong UX culture within the team.
What they’re looking for
FREENOW is looking for a designer with 3–5 years of experience in product or UX design, ideally in a startup or tech environment. You should be confident designing for web, iOS, and Android products, and have experience working with design systems.
You’ll need to speak German at an advanced or native level, as you’ll be engaging with stakeholders and users in both German and English. You should be comfortable interpreting data, facilitating discovery sessions, and clearly communicating your design thinking to diverse teams.
Perks and benefits
This role offers flexible working arrangements, LinkedIn Learning access, sabbatical and special leave policies, mobility credit, health insurance, and additional days off including your birthday, 24th and 31st December. FREENOW supports a short-term EU work policy, and has a strong commitment to inclusivity, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
