Senior Product Designer

Spotify

Spotify transformed music listening forever when it launched in 2008. With over a decade of growth, the company has expanded beyond music into podcasts and audiobooks, and now learning. Spotify’s mission is to unlock human creativity by connecting millions of creators with billions of fans. Today, Spotify is the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service, and its next step-change is building the future of learning.

The Role

Spotify is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join its AI & Learning vertical, working closely with a world-class R&D team and decision-makers. This is a broad, high-impact role, suited to a generalist designer who combines product design expertise with AI knowledge. You’ll help shape how people learn and upskill using Spotify’s scale, personalisation technology, and brand reach.

Who You Are

You are passionate about learning and education, with experience shipping products that people love. You demonstrate clarity of thought, cutting through ambiguity to make principled decisions. You have strong foundational design skills and a discerning eye for visuals, content, typography and layout.

You bring experience building AI-first workflows and products, with hands-on familiarity with AI tools and challenges. You thrive in entrepreneurial environments, adapt quickly to change, and focus on impact and growth.

What You’ll Do

You will coordinate design work for learning features across mobile and web. You’ll prototype rapidly to test forward-looking ideas and bring momentum to new strategies. You’ll apply human-centred design principles to AI, ensuring usability, accessibility, inclusivity and ethical practices.

You’ll inspire and influence through compelling storytelling and collaborate daily with colleagues in product, tech and insights. You’ll define AI interaction patterns, develop feedback mechanisms and ensure transparency and user control in AI-driven experiences.

Where You’ll Be

This role is based in London or Stockholm, with hybrid flexibility. Spotify asks that you attend in person 2–3 days per week. The team is based in Sweden and the UK, and the role requires working within EMEA time zones.

Inclusivity

Spotify is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusivity and accessibility. The company welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and provides reasonable accommodations during the recruitment process.
