Senior UI Designer

Slingshot Aerospace is on a mission to make space safe, sustainable, and secure. As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll help shape how complex space data, AI-driven insights, and mission-critical systems are presented to users through clear, trustworthy, and highly usable interfaces.

This role sits within the Product organization and focuses on crafting high-quality user interfaces for data-heavy, technically sophisticated platforms used in space domain awareness, satellite operations, and space security. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to translate advanced capabilities into intuitive, scalable UI systems.

As Senior UI Designer, you’ll take ownership of visual design across key product surfaces, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accessibility. You’ll contribute to and evolve the design system, defining components, patterns, and visual standards that support complex workflows while maintaining usability under high-stakes conditions.

You’ll collaborate in a highly transparent, trust-based culture where design decisions are informed by curiosity, experimentation, and responsibility. The role requires comfort working in multidisciplinary teams, balancing precision with speed, and designing interfaces that support real-time decision-making.
