Wise

Wise is a global tech company on a mission to build the best way to move and manage money across borders. Whether people or businesses are sending money abroad, spending internationally, or making and receiving global payments—Wise aims to make that process faster, cheaper, and easier for everyone.

Join the team helping to create a brand-new network for the world’s money.

Job Description

Your mission is to join Wise’s FinCrime team and design products that help detect and prevent fraud, scams, and money laundering. You’ll design experiences for both Wise’s global customers and internal agents, who work to protect the platform from financial crime.

You’ll collaborate with product teams to simplify complex workflows and create scalable components that can adapt across multiple use cases. Your work will directly support Wise’s mission of building a safer, more open financial system.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll develop a deep understanding of Wise customers and the goals they’re trying to achieve.

You’ll gain insight into financial crime typologies and learn how they evolve over time.

You’ll work closely with FinCrime agents to understand their challenges and improve their tools.

You’ll use your full range of product design skills to create experiences that are intuitive, functional, and impactful—helping agents protect customers and Wise’s platform.

You’ll influence your team’s direction by elevating the standard of design, customer thinking, and creativity.

What You’ll Get

You’ll ship work you’re proud of—designs that are easy to use, clear, and effective.

You’ll have ownership over what problems to solve and how to measure success.

You’ll raise the bar for product quality by defining what ‘good’ looks like and helping your team deliver it.

You’ll make a real-world impact by helping fix a broken financial system and putting people in control of their money.

About You

You have a portfolio that shows thoughtful, well-crafted design that solves real problems for real users.

You’re comfortable starting from first principles and designing for impact. Experience with internal tools is a plus.

You’re a prototyper at heart—you explore multiple directions and can clearly explain the tradeoffs.

You understand that design is iterative, and you use early concepts and testing to guide your path.

You work well with design systems and can apply them to create scalable, consistent experiences.

You use evidence and research to support your decisions and communicate them with clarity and confidence.
