UX Designer

NatWest Group

Join as a UX Designer and help craft experiences that truly make a difference. You’ll be part of a team shaping intuitive, inclusive, and effective digital products used by thousands of customers every day. This role puts you at the intersection of creativity and strategy — ensuring every interaction feels simple, consistent, and meaningful.

What You’ll Do

You’ll design and refine websites and applications that deliver seamless, customer-focused experiences across desktop and mobile. You’ll work from early discovery through to final execution, using storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate ideas clearly. Your focus will be on creating consistent, efficient, and enjoyable designs that align with company standards and design systems.

You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, researchers, developers, and visual designers to translate insights into impactful digital experiences. You’ll also take part in user research and testing, using data and qualitative findings to shape solutions that balance user needs and business goals. Working in an Agile environment, you’ll help define customer value and bring it to life through thoughtful, user-centred design.

What You’ll Bring

You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates both creative and analytical thinking, with proven experience designing effective UX for complex digital products. You understand the nuances of user behaviour and can clearly explain your decisions to stakeholders and developers alike. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects independently and thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

You’ll also have:

  • Significant experience delivering interface designs for high-performance environments

  • Hands-on expertise supporting user-centred design processes, including creating artefacts for research and testing

  • Proficiency with Figma, Axure, and other design and prototyping tools

  • Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles

  • A background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related field

  • Experience working in Agile teams, contributing throughout iterative design and delivery cycles

Why Join

You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact — creating experiences that simplify lives while being recognised for your craft and contribution. This role offers flexibility through a Remote First approach and the chance to collaborate with talented peers across design, research, and technology disciplines.
