About the Role
Twitch’s Core UX team owns and evolves our Design System, the backbone of Twitch’s cross-platform experience. As a Design Systems Designer, you’ll define, maintain, and scale our visual language across web, mobile, and TV platforms.

You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, and product teams to create accessible, consistent, and high-quality UI foundations that power the Twitch experience for millions of creators and viewers worldwide.

This role is ideal for a designer who loves visual craft, systematic thinking, and the challenge of scaling delightful experiences across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Do
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to evolve Twitch’s Design System and product visual language (color, typography, iconography, motion, layout, etc.).

Lead the creation of reusable UI components, patterns, and templates, ensuring accessibility and design consistency.

Document and communicate system principles through clear, actionable guidelines and documentation.

Participate in design reviews, workshops, and working sessions with cross-functional teams.

Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the design system’s evolution.

Advocate for inclusive and accessible design standards across all Twitch products.

Support designers and engineers in implementing design system updates accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience in design systems or visual product design, ideally within tech or digital product environments.

A portfolio showcasing visual design excellence and systematic thinking, especially around scalable UI and brand systems.

Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how they apply within a design system.

Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with tools like Storybook, Zeroheight, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience working across mobile (iOS/Android) and web environments.

Understanding of design tokens, version management, and component-based workflows.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present system-level decisions to diverse audiences.

Nice to Have
Motion design or prototyping experience (After Effects, Principle, or similar).

Familiarity with 3D, illustration systems, or brand animation.

Experience in gaming, entertainment, or community-driven products.
