About the role
We’re looking for a Product Designer with a passion for crafting clean, scalable, and effective interfaces to help shape the next generation of AI-powered productivity tools. You’ll join a growing team developing intelligent AI agents designed to integrate directly into employees’ workflows—helping them complete business tasks, automate steps, and surface relevant actions in real time.
Your designs will make these AI agents feel intuitive, trustworthy, and genuinely helpful—enhancing how teams in Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, and beyond work every day.
Responsibilities
You’ll design intuitive, elegant user interfaces with strong attention to layout, hierarchy, typography, and interaction details. You’ll evolve and maintain a unified design system that ensures consistency and scalability across platforms.
Working closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers, you’ll create and test interaction flows and component specs that account for dynamic AI behavior. You’ll explore motion and microinteractions to make complex interactions more human, and iterate quickly based on feedback and analytics.
Requirements
You bring 4+ years of product design experience and a strong portfolio showcasing polished UIs, visual craftsmanship, and thoughtful interaction design. You’re proficient in Figma and confident designing responsive web applications.
You have experience contributing to or maintaining design systems and a solid grasp of interaction design principles, motion, and system thinking. You’re curious, collaborative, and comfortable working through ambiguity.
Experience with prototyping and motion design tools—such as CodePen, Rive, Principle, or Framer—is a plus.
Preferred skills
You have designed interfaces for AI-powered tools or enterprise software and understand how business users think and work. Experience with intelligent assistants, search interfaces, or workflow automation tools will help you stand out.
Why Workato
At Workato, you’ll work on products at the intersection of AI, automation, and enterprise productivity—helping shape how millions of people interact with intelligent software every day. You’ll collaborate with some of the brightest minds in AI design, enjoy a transparent and inclusive culture, and have real ownership over your work.
Equal opportunity
Workato is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to fair, transparent, and accessible hiring practices.
