Product Designer
Numan
Numan is hiring a Product Designer to join its London-based Product Design team, working in a hybrid setup. Founded in 2018, Numan is a fast-growing digital health company on a mission to empower people to take control of their health through an integrated platform combining diagnostics, medication, supplements, digital programmes, and clinician support.
In this role, you’ll be embedded in a cross-functional product squad and act as the primary advocate for patients within your product area. You’ll lead research and design end-to-end, developing a deep understanding of patient needs, motivations, and behaviours, and translating these insights into meaningful product improvements. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, clinicians, researchers, and content designers to create patient-centred solutions that balance usability, clinical safety, regulatory constraints, and business outcomes.
Your work will span discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery. You’ll plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, analyse behavioural and clinical data, facilitate workshops, and produce high-quality design artefacts such as service blueprints, experience maps, user flows, interactive prototypes, and UI designs. You’ll also help define success metrics that combine patient outcomes with engagement and retention, using data to iterate and improve designs over time.
This role suits a designer with strong communication skills, deep empathy for users, and a structured approach to solving complex problems. Experience working in regulated environments, healthcare, or content-heavy products is valuable, alongside an interest in behavioural science, accessibility, and inclusive design.
Numan offers a comprehensive benefits package including share options, generous holiday allowance, health insurance, enhanced parental leave, flexible working, personal learning budgets, wellbeing benefits, and a dog-friendly London office. Numan is committed to diversity, inclusion, and creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, heard, and supported.
