
Product Designer
CareMessage
CareMessage is hiring a Product Designer to craft innovative solutions that delight users and help them achieve meaningful outcomes within our application. You’ll design experiences that empower healthcare teams supporting some of the most vulnerable patients in the US.
As part of a small, diverse team reporting to the Director of Product, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver impactful solutions. In this product-led company, you’ll co-own the user lifecycle from research to launch — conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, presenting mockups, testing prototypes, and working with engineers to bring ideas to life.

You’ve designed solutions for B2B health tech products, and you’re driven by empathy — balancing user needs with business impact. You communicate clearly, listen actively, and aim to move the team forward sustainably.
Within your first 6 months, you’ll
Learn the product inside and out, understand our users’ needs, and get to know our market and competitors.
Partner with the product team to design solutions addressing customer pain points.
Identify key KPIs related to user experience and track improvements.
Collaborate across teams and directly with customers to experiment and iterate on ideas.
Contribute to a cohesive design strategy that aligns with our vision and brand.
Represent design in cross-functional discussions, clearly communicating design rationale.
Own design execution for a core product area while partnering with senior designers on broader strategy.
Share user insights to shape product priorities and continually refine the experience based on feedback and data.
Responsibilities
You’ll own the solution development process for PRDs — creating flow diagrams, wireframes, and polished visual designs. You’ll lead usability studies, communicate design decisions clearly, and work closely with product managers and engineers to refine interaction design and functionality.
You’ll ensure the CareMessage brand is reflected across digital experiences, maintain and evolve our Design System, and collaborate across teams to align messaging. You’ll meet regularly with customers to test and evaluate designs, help prioritise roadmap items, and set, track, and report on UX KPIs.
Requirements
You have a strong digital portfolio showcasing thoughtful, consistent visual design across products. You bring 3+ years of experience in a product design role for a SaaS company, with a proven record of designing effective web-based products for B2B environments. You’re proficient in Figma (or similar vector-based tools).
Salary: $124,000 USD per year
