Senior Product Designer

User Interviews

User Interviews is a fully remote team — and always has been. We care deeply about remote culture and staying connected, even without sharing the same physical space.

You’ll be trusted to take full ownership of your work. There’s no one peering over your shoulder, but you’ll be expected to communicate clearly and work transparently with your team.

We’re also big on feedback. From teammates to leadership, everyone’s invested in learning, improving, and building better together.

About User Interviews

We believe the best companies build products their customers love — and the only way to do that is by regularly talking to them.

That’s why we exist. We help teams run user research by managing and recruiting participants, making it easier to uncover insights and make informed decisions.

Hundreds of teams use User Interviews every month, including Atlassian, Amazon, and Spotify.

What You’ll Do

You’ll join a cross-functional product pod made up of a product manager, tech lead, data analyst, engineers, and you — the designer.

You’ll be involved in every stage of the design process, from discovery and problem-framing to testing and launching solutions. You’ll work closely with your team to deeply understand our users and create high-quality, intuitive designs.

You’ll also play a role in shaping and evolving our design system to ensure consistent, accessible, and visually strong experiences across the app.

What We’re Looking For

You’re confident driving work forward independently, while collaborating closely with your team. You care about quality, but you’re not precious — you share early ideas and invite feedback.

You’re curious and creative, but also practical. You know when to explore and when to get into the details.

You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment where you might need to make quick decisions and adapt.

What You’ll Need

4 to 7 years of experience in a product design or UX role. You’ve designed modern, responsive web apps and worked with tools like Figma (we use Figma).

You know how to gather and apply user insights, and you communicate your ideas clearly — both in writing and in conversation.

You’ve worked with a design system, and you understand the technical side enough to collaborate effectively with engineers.

You’ve also worked in a SaaS or enterprise environment.

To apply, you must be based in the United States and legally authorised to work without visa sponsorship.

Nice to Have

If you’re familiar with WCAG standards, mobile-first design, or front-end technologies — that’s a bonus. We also use Continuous Discovery frameworks, so experience there is great.

What You’ll Get

$120K+ salary plus annual bonus and stock options.

100% medical, dental, and vision coverage.

One Medical membership, 401k with contribution, generous PTO, wellness days, parental leave, and monthly WFH stipends.

$250 office setup budget and ongoing learning allowance.

Diversity & Inclusion

We build for everyone, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds — including varied socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, age, disability, neurodivergence, and more.

We know this work is never done, and we’re committed to doing it better every day.
