UX/UI Designer
TalkTalk
You’ll be responsible for designing consistent, effortless digital experiences. The role calls for a balance of creative and analytical thinking, delivering effective UX/UI solutions that solve problems and support business goals. You will need strong visual interaction design skills and excellent communication to champion UX thinking with product owners and developers, while also leading projects and encouraging collaborative problem solving.
Responsibilities
You will deliver impactful solutions that address customer problems and support business metrics. You will ensure the UX process is followed, using research and data to drive decisions, and you will be able to measure the success of design work.
You will support the delivery of product roadmaps alongside product owners and developers, ensure a smooth handover to development, and verify that the final product matches the design vision. You will also share best practices and industry innovations, contribute to a customer-centric culture, and help the business understand the value of UX/UI.
You will be expected to contribute to the design system, creating and documenting components for consistent use across digital experiences.
Requirements
You should have a strong understanding of design thinking, accessibility, and design systems, with the ability to communicate their importance and secure stakeholder buy-in. Proficiency in Figma and experience contributing to design systems are essential.
You will be able to identify the best processes, evaluate outcomes, and champion the customer’s voice by ensuring design decisions are backed by data and insights. You should be comfortable facilitating workshops, working in agile environments, and managing complex information to create simple, user-friendly designs.
Experience in user research and testing is important, as well as ensuring designs are both commercially viable and technically feasible. You should also demonstrate behaviours aligned to TalkTalk’s values of challenge, care, and commit.
