Are you looking for a community of designers to connect with, learn from, and geek out with over every pixel? If this sounds like you, we've got you covered. With so many communities out there, it can be tough to know which ones are worth exploring. Whether you're new to the field or a seasoned pro, this blog has got you covered with some of the best UX design communities to join. Personally, I've made some great friends through design communities, and I can’t wait for you to embark on this journey!

We understand that joining a new community can be a daunting experience. You’re walking into a virtual room full of new faces, so to help take the edge off, keep these tips in mind:

  1. Your voice is important, regardless of your experience level- Be prepared to put yourself out there and contribute
  2. Many communities have introduction channels – leverage them
  3. Being vulnerable can help build and deepen connections so don't be afraid to be your most authentic self
  4. Feel free to connect over interests not related to design
  5. Found someone that inspires you? Reach out to them 1-on-1
  6. If you don’t connect with everyone – that’s okay
  7. Be kind. Be human!

Now, onto the communities!
